Join Baltimore Tree Trust, the Carrie Murray Nature center, and FOGFLP for this late summer event!
We will meet at the CMNC and undertake a short hike (about 1 mile) along the trails to check out some notable trees around the Nature Center. We will also visit the popular Osage and Magnolia groves, and experience the wonder of the Mother Tree.
This hike is good for kids and adults who want to expand their knowledge of trees of the Piedmont, and also enjoy the more unusual trees that the Winans family cultivated on their estate.
Bring a water bottle, and dress for the weather. The nature center has bathrooms and a place to fill your water bottle.
Please reserve a spot on Civic Rec.
